Vabali Spa Düsseldorf

Next year, when I return to Düsseldorf, there is no doubt that I will return to Vabali Spa.

The place is really nice decorated but insane busy… we just went out (sunday of march) and we liked (equipment, decoration) but we think it is not worth it the money.

We paid 3,5€ to reserve a place but still really busy… so why we should pay a reservation if still there are waiting lines to enter or to acces to the sauna.

Moreover, our plan was to have breakfast there but the waiting line also was really long. Important to know that the restaurant is inside the spa, so the time you spend waiting is also added on the time of the spa (you pay for hours… so perfect business…).

A SPA is to relax but with so many people is not really possible.

Also a friend opened the locker, leave the bracalet (pass) next to him, and when he finnish changing, the bracalet was not there…

Important information we would like to know in addvance: -is allowed to bring your bottle of water, so you can refilled. Otherwise 3€ for a small bottle. -the parking from the spa cost 1,5€ -is textil free so you must go nacked -It is 25’ by car from Dusseldorf center

I guess if you are there maybe for a weekend the experience is different… or maybe during weekdays is less busy… I do not know, but if you pay 3,5€ (on top of the final price) in addvance to book a spot, what it is not acceptable is that then there you still need to do long waiting lines.

Hope this aspects get improved because it is a really nice place.

A Balinese spa… with a German twist

I came for the spa. I stayed for the surprise: my first time ever swimming naked… in an outdoor pool… in December.

It wasn’t planned. But somewhere between the steaming waters and the frosty winter air, I stopped caring. No one else did — and that, perhaps, is the most German part of the experience.

The architecture takes you far from Düsseldorf — wooden walkways, carved doors, lantern-lit paths… it all feels wonderfully Asian, like a temple retreat hidden in a cold forest. And in this quiet sanctuary, tension melts. You soak in the hot outdoor pools as steam rises into the sky, cold air brushing your face — and it feels oddly healing. Peaceful, even playful.

This place is truly heaven on Earth and an absolute must-visit! The breathtaking lake view is extraordinary, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. With over 16 different types of saunas, each offering unique features, it’s an unparalleled wellness experience.

The staff are incredibly friendly and supportive, always willing to assist, and they make an effort to explain everything in English. A special shoutout to the gentleman at the entrance—he was extremely respectful and accommodating, even though we arrived without a reservation. Keep in mind that reservations are essential on weekends, as the place is massive yet still gets quite crowded.

Unfortunately, taking photos of the stunning view isn’t allowed since phones are prohibited, but trust me, it’s a sight to behold! The food is on another level—highly recommend the ramen and the Vabali burger. And for dessert, don’t miss the New York cheesecake; it’s simply divine!

We spent a wonderfully relaxing day at Vabali Spa Düsseldorf.

The variety of saunas available is truly impressive, offering something for every preference and making the experience feel special.

Definitely recommend making a reservation, even on a weekday. I debated on doing a massage, so I passed on reserving one, but regretted my decision when I got there. I asked if any were available, but they were fully booked, especially since I went on a Friday late afternoon, and it was super busy.

This was probably one of my favorites in Germany. The infinity pool with the amazing sunset was perfect, it appears to be near a lake. So calm. There's an indoor pool as well, several saunas that have the temp & and humidity. I don't think a jacuzzi unless I missed it.

I loved the outside gardens, with lounge chairs. Very relaxing. I got a cappuccino & a brownie cake, delicious. 2 hours with my snacks was less than 50€...

I was disappointed at the amount of people who snuck their phone in their robes, there was a group that was also taking pics from the top deck into the pool. Huge NO, NO... especially since everyone in their birthday suits.

Otherwise, I highly recommend it! The sunset was amazing that evening.

I don’t write reviews unless I have an otherworldly experience, so my visit to Vabali absolutely deserves one. The sauna rituals were incredible — thoughtful, grounding, and unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Each stage felt intentional, and by the end I was completely relaxed and in pure bliss.

The lomi massage that followed was just as impressive. My therapist had the perfect balance of pressure and intuition, working out tension I didn’t even realize I had. Nothing felt rushed — everything flowed naturally, and I left feeling like a completely different person.

The space itself is calm, clean, and beautifully designed without feeling pretentious. The staff are warm and genuine, which really makes a difference.

If you’re looking for a spa that truly values the experience — not just the aesthetics — this is the place. I’ve spoken so highly of it to everyone I know and spending a day in Vabali is enough reason on its own for me to travel to Germany again and again.

It was such a great relaxing time! It's very clean, modern, chic and spacious. They pay a lot of attention to detail. There are several indoor and outdoor saunas (2 of them are panoramic saunas where you have a huge window and a fantastic view of the lake right in front of it 😍😍😍😍). It's very romantic and cozy. We were lucky to watch the sunset right from the sauna!

There are plenty of beds to relax or read a book, a medium sized pool and a hammam with a great fennel aroma (highly recommend 👍🏻✨).

The locker rooms are for men and women together. The main shower room is divided into two large rooms separately for men and women.

You can park your car right in front of it in the private parking lot, which makes entry very easy.

We really enjoyed it and will definitely be coming again! 🥰🥰🥰

An absolutely unacceptable experience when it came to waiting to get into the sauna. The website was entirely unclear as to how long a wait would be without a reservation and the group I was with (4) were out in the cold for over 30 minutes.

The doorman were extremely unhelpful and refused to give us an estimated time as to how long the wait would be upon arrival. We were told that the indoor staff would simply let us know when they could let us in.

If you want to go here either reserve or go elsewhere. It simply not worth the price for the lack of actual hospitality and organization.

Edit:

I spoke to the manager to file a formal complaint with the manager and she was wholly unsympathetic. She said it was obvious that you would need a reservation via the information on the website. I've enclosed a screenshot to show that there is no formal or obvious "Reserve Now" button as she mentioned and tried to debate with both myself and my group.

It isn't her fault the website has bad or imprecise design when it comes to informing users to reserve at a glance, but it needs to be changed and the site should be updated.

The locals don’t understand how lucky they are to have such a place this place is truly amazing a very high end spa lots to choose from many different sauna and steam rooms outdoor pool indoor outdoor lounge some overlooking a river a magnificent view breathtaking the only thing awkward was being nude I got used to it but I didn’t know where to look I most definitely never wanted to offend anyone by being accused of staring so I kept my gaze down I’m from Scotland so I’m no used to that but the venue the staff 5 starts I will definitely be back next year

This place is incredible. It is such a relaxing place and very organised. The Saunas are clean and well kept. Some of the Saunas sit around 100 people. There must be around 12 different Saunas that run different temperatures and different humidity levels as well as different fragrances. Every 30 minutes they also run a different fragrance in certain Saunas, where a member of staff come into a sauna with a full bucket of water which has already been cented with the correct fragrance and they organise a 15 minutes sweat out, they put the water on in 3 stages and at each stage they force the heat around the sauna with towels waving them through the air. When they do this programme in different areas the Saunas are very busy as people do plan their schedule to go into the different Saunas when these events are on. They are excellent in doing this great programme. We also booked a message and it was excellent, the staff were very good and we did enjoy the experience. The 2 lovely masseuse were very good, but their English was very limited, but after all we were in Germany and we should have learnt more German. They also have multiple pools with different heat levels and also plenty of relaxing areas with comfortable beds to lay on both indoor and outdoor. The park is well situated next to a wonderful lake with some beautiful views, especially from the Sea view sauna.

They also have a lovely food hall where you can buy drinks and snacks or a full meal. The place is very well organised. Please remember that when using the Saunas you have to be naked, but you must sit on your towel that you carry around with you. All in all it is a wonderful place to visit and it is not cheap but well worth a visit. It is a large place but is well used, and i would imagine extremely busy on weekends, we were fortunate we booked for the full day on a Thursday, personally when we do go back there we would not go on bank holidays or Friday to Sunday.

I could not take more pictures of the place as phones or cameras are not allowed passed the changing rooms, which is correct. They certainly need to get the staff to watch out more for this as it would have been very easy to take your phone into areas that people would not be happy about. There should be signs up saying that no phones or cameras passed this point and if people are found with the equipment beyond that point they would be asked to leave the building or site.

I understand the rule that doesn't allow the enter for a group of 3 people, but it should be clearly stated on the website. Especially when buying a voucher. We came from Cologne and had a bad experience because of that.

Great spa complex with a variety of saunas, pools, and a pleasant atmosphere perfect for a full day of relaxation and wellness. The staff is friendly and the service is generally good, but during peak times it can get noisy and finding a quiet spot can be difficult.

Absolutely beautiful place. Coming from England we were a bit surprised by the no swimsuit/trunks allowed but we fully embraced the culture and loved every minute. The restaurant staff were so friendly and welcoming and the whole place was extremely clean.

We have been here several times, the sauna Aufguss, swimming pool and inside room decoration and facilities are all great, we could really relax and enjoy some hours here. But better avoid the public holidays or weekend, too crowded.

What a beautiful place! Every little detail is well thought out. You feel like you are in Bali. The building is located on a lake. There is an outdoor area with pool and great view and an indoor area with various saunas and steam bath. Massages can be added. There is something for everyone. You can borrow bathrobe, towels and slippers. Just great!

Oh this place is out of this World!!! Full body and mind experience. Treat yourself to a day here and you will not be disappointed. I recommend also doing the Rasul coffee and honey scrub in the steamroom. The Restaurant is also very good. Maybe I should mention, that this place is textile free.A bathrobe and slippers are necessary for the Restaurant, but can be rented for 5 to 10 Euro and no clothing for sauna or pool, other than the towel you sit on. 😉

Here are the tips for someone who has experienced German Saunas for the first time.

Yes you will need to be fully naked in their steam or sauna rooms. Not allowed to cover yourself with robes. You need to sit and sweat on the towels, people frown on if they see your sweat is dripping on the wood, flip flops not allowed inside saunas only walking between the saunas and lounges.

Their services and amenities: 1. 12 different saunas rooms 2. Lounge areas to rest and take nap 3. Outdoor and indoor pools with different water temperatures 4. Restaurant that serves fresh healthy and delicious foods with drinks, juices and lemonades. 5. Sign up ahead of times or make appointment for massage or personal scrub sessions 6. Please check out their free sauna and steam room session where they use different herbs, oils, scrubs and create a HOT and intense steam for 7-10 minutes. 7. Pay using your locker bracelet for the food

All you need to bring your flip flops and bottle of water (they have fountains) and you can also purchase water inside for 3€ and two towels + robe for 10€. Showers have shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Locker rooms have hair dryers.

An amazing spa - spent 10 hours here. There’s so many saunas, outdoor pool, plunge pool, steam room, resting beds indoor and outdoors, various sauna ceremonies and even a restaurant. Totally nude but you have robes too

My favorite place in Düsseldorf. Everything was well kept in there. Many sauna rooms, 2 pool both indoor and outdoor. Be aware this is German mixed nude sauna. I especially like their restaurant, usually those places only have canteen food but this place has really good menu. I usually spend the whole day in there.

Excellent Spa Experience with Varied Sauna Ambiences - Great Staff

We visited this spa on a Sunday and were delighted by the variety of saunas, each offering a unique atmosphere. Every half hour, there were 2 or 3 special events in different saunas, which added to the enjoyment. The outdoor warm pools were great in the cold weather.

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, with the experience at the reception desk being even better. They truly enhanced our day.

My favourite place to come when in Düsseldorf. In fact I'd come to Düsseldorf just for a visit. The summer offer of €30 for 6 hours of spa (5pm till midnight) is an absolute bargain.

Dear Vabali Düsseldorf Team,

I would like to express my disappointment regarding our recent visit, which, instead of being a relaxing and luxurious experience, turned into an unnecessarily stressful ordeal due to poor organization and lack of communication.

We had booked a couples massage and were looking forward to a serene and rejuvenating experience. While the massage itself was excellent and professionally executed, the overall experience was overshadowed by the chaos at the entrance and the unprofessional attitude of the reception staff.

Despite arriving 30 minutes before our appointment, we were unable to find parking due to the severe lack of available spaces. The situation was further exacerbated by cars illegally parked along the road, resulting in fines from local authorities. Instead of acknowledging and addressing this persistent issue, Vabali seems to shift the blame onto its guests. Upon arrival, we were told that we should have arrived one hour in advance—a crucial detail that was not communicated in the confirmation email. Had this information been provided, we would have still encountered the parking nightmare, but at least we would have planned accordingly to be on time.

To make matters worse, the receptionist reacted with unnecessary irritation when we arrived three minutes late due to this logistical failure. Judging by other reviews, it appears that this is a recurring issue, yet no steps have been taken to improve the situation. Instead of finding a customer-focused solution, the response at the front desk only added to the frustration. After calming the receptionist down, we were finally allowed to proceed with the remaining time of our massage, though by then, part of our session had already been lost due to the front desk's inefficiency.

Fortunately, the massage therapists were professional and adapted the session as best as they could within the remaining time, which helped ease some of the frustration. However, by that point, the stress caused by the poor management had already overshadowed the experience.

It is incredibly disappointing to spend a significant amount of money on what is supposed to be a premium wellness experience, only to be met with disorganization, inadequate communication, and dismissive customer service. Given this, we will certainly not be returning. I strongly urge Vabali to reassess its parking situation, improve its communication, and train its staff to handle guests with the level of hospitality one would expect from a high-end wellness establishment.

I understand getting kicked out the first time for not having a reservation that’s fair. But after calling customer service, we were told we could book for 3 people on the site, so we did exactly that. We waited an hour, booked properly, and went all the way back, only to be turned away again by the same security guard, saying “3 people is too much.” This makes no sense, especially since he originally told us we just needed a reservation. We ended up getting a refund, but the whole experience was frustrating, disorganized, and honestly a waste of time. Date when it happened: 8-6-2025

EDIT: That’s understandable if this is truly a fixed rule. However, I noticed that the security guard stopped us, while letting three other guys of his own nationality enter without any issue. That doesn’t feel fair. You’re a professional company, so there should be someone at the door who applies the rules correctly and equally, without attitude and high ego.

Also, over the phone we were told that booking for three people was possible and that we could purchase three tickets on the website. That gave us false information and false hope, even though it turned out not to be allowed and ended up wasting hours of our time.

1. Overall the experience was good, the spa was clean and didn't have any form of chlorine smell. People were friendly which helped bring a relaxing vibe. (4/5) 2. Inside it's well divided between the different sauna's that are present, however, once there's an event taking place, there's no form of space at all once you enter the spa itself. To enter certain sauna's they ask for an additional fee of 10+ EUR. (3/5) 3. The parking facilities are next to not existent once you wish to visit Vabali after 10:00 in the morning. We were there on a Thursday at 12:00 and there was no parking availability to which we were forced to park on a near 10 minute walk from the spa itself. (1/5) 4. The price/quality ratio is something that I feel is somewhat okay, however, there's parts which I have issues with. - In order to make a reservation online for a timeslot, you have to pay an additional 3.50EUR whilst this is a non-refundable ticket. This seems very strange and like a scam to obtain extra money. - Any form of slippers, bathrobes, towels etc, you have to pay additionally for. When paying 40 euro's for 4 hours, this should not be an issue to receive at least towels. - Drinks are fairly priced, these are equal to prices which you pay in the city as well. On enclosed environments you would normally also have to pay extra which therefore isn't an issue. - To enter all sauna's you have to pay additionally, especially sauna's with steam (the Turkish steam baths) you have to pay extra to be able to make use of them. This in my eyes is NOT ok. The overall consensus of price-quality ratio is therefore 3/5.

The final consensus, overall it's a great way to get a relaxing day, you should be there early, bring your own gear (bathrobes, towels, slippers) to avoid any additional fees. I'd partially recommend going here keeping in mind the above mentioned points.

Very nice Spa in Asian style with many saunas and a good restaurant . You should reserve as it is highly popular on weekends. It’s easy to spend a full day here . Best Saunaufguss” is the birch treee one in the herbs sauna

Very nice spa right on the lake, gives it a great setting. All facilities very clean. No reservation of Sunbed rule enforced. A little bit expensive for entry fee, but worth the money. If it's your first time visiting they will give you a map of facility so you don't miss anything, very nice touch.

This place is amazing. So many different types of saunas, delicious food and this climate - I have no words. The chilling area is something that everyone needs to try. Take your favourite book and enjoy the climate. The design of the building is also top 10/10. Plan your day with the rituals like thyme, rosemary or cedar wood and enjoy your life.

It is ridiculous to pay 3.5EUR for reservation of particular time slot and then wait 1h to get inside… VABALI - you could solve it better way, or is this intentional, easy way for you to get more money…?

As my first spa experience I don’t see how it will get much better than this! The spa is a beautiful haven, with an incredible amount of detail too that truly feels tranquil. By being located on a river it embodies this tranquility and really gives into the zen feeling.

I would highly recommend trying out the guided saunas where they give you a pot of joy and tell you exactly what to do with it. The clay masks is also worth a try as you come out feeling cleansed and as a soft as a baby! Very worth the €13 since you are provided with tea, the mask, and intimate setting and some delicious shea butter at the end.

The food too is not to be over looked. Very delicious and filling. My partner and I were there for the whole day so it was very necessary to have lunch and dinner. I would definitely recommend the spaghetti!

It was a great pleasure to be there. The atmosphere is wonderful: music, smells, design. Just like in Bali, truly. I used to live there for a year. Massage was heavenly good. It's worthwhile to go there to distract yourself from routine and gain the power.

ALWAYS BOOK OR BRINK DECENT JACKET!!! They take reservations to 100% on line and if you have a long travel distance you can possibly wait for a long time ( 20 min intervals they check on turn up and fill the gap with the line waiting outside) outside till the gap fills of a reservations that does not show. I made the mistake and did not book and did not bring a jacket, and after 3 skips, they did not let anyone in due to all turning up that booked we left since I was freezing :-( very disapointed

As usual a wonderful, relaxing time in a beautiful environment. Even though the place gets very busy, with so many saunas and relaxation areas to choose from, it doesn’t feel overly full. Friendly, courteous staff. Good choice of food and drinks. I‘m coming at least once a month and always enjoying it.

If you like a good Spa. This is the place. Very friendly staff. Beautiful area on a natural lake. Unfortunately you can’t go in. But the saunas are great. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Beautiful place with the worst service i ever experienced. - BAD SERVICE IN THE RESTAURANT: There is no structure nor good organization. Servers mixing up the orders, dont know who ordered what, forgets to bring the menu. We had very bad waitress named Sonja. She was rude and ignorant, when we shared our feedback with the manager Till, he simply told us that it is not his problem and had no clue what to do with the feedback plus he suggested that we could leave the restaurant. - VERY CROWDED: the place is packed and its not worth paying 50 euro for the saunas that you barely find the place.

We were expecting from the place like Vabali high level of service and less crowd. For 50Eur entrance cost, you can find a much better places, less crowded and with a great service for sure.

Nice spa with a great view. Really dark saunas if you like that. One sauna with laying seats was great. Not much of a whirlpool spa (missed that). Pretty crowded but it was a holiday weekend.

Food wasn’t that good. The carpaccio was not worth it for the money. Not many chicken dishes. Long waiting for the waiter.

Overall, my experience at Vabali was mixed. While the staff were nice and friendly, the pools were disappointingly cold, making it difficult to relax. Both the indoor and outdoor pools lacked warmth, hindering my enjoyment of the infinity pool's view. Additionally, the sauna experience felt repetitive, with similar atmospheres and Aufguss themes. However, the landscape design was stunning, offering ample space for relaxation in a clean environment. The restaurant surpassed expectations with its high-quality food and view.

One of if not the best Sauna Spa in Germany. It’s very clean, well maintained and always a pleasure coming here. The staff operating the Sauna are very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend booking a Coffee Scrub experience at the info desk and enjoy a sound ceremony in the relaxation area, besides trying all their Sauna and Pools. The restaurant is good but service takes a while, be prepared to wait for your food for at least 30 min during weekends.

Unique experience!! I had 8 hours ticket as a gift from my bf. We enjoy the programs in saunas, with amazing smells, and programs The pool outside is amazing. With nice body temperature. Tgere are 2 more small one with higher temperature. We enjoy the bar even. Fantastic menu and cocktails. I recomment it 1000% and on my next trip back to Dusseldorf i will book again.

We were first-timers and a bit nervous initially. But what an amazing experience. The amount of saunas will keep you roaming and craving more. The property is very well organised. A really great human experience with decent food.

This place is quite crowded during weekends. You can appoint for certain time but for each person you have to pay €3.5 in addition to the costs for 2 or 4 hours. Maybe it’s a beautiful place in Düsseldorf area but I would not visit again. Sauna is supposed to be quiet and calm and not filled with so many people. :)

Amazing experience. French people you have to understand that you have to be naked but it belongs to their culture. The place is amazing, refined, intimate and warmful decoration, the view over the lake from the saunas and swimming pool is just unbelievable. I will definitely come back!

Would recommend everyone to spend a day here! We stayed for more than 7 hours and absolutely enjoyed our time there. From sugar peelings to a nap on a heated waterbed and a break with cheesecake and brownies. There’s so many places to relax and lay down. Will definitely come back!

I've been to the Berlin location, so I thought I'd check this one out. Very similar design/architecture/features, but the Dusseldorf location has an unbeatable setting, facing a large natural lake. There is a faint background highway noise, but fair enough... The only downside is that it's about 14 km from the city centre. I cycled (took close to an hour because there isn't a very direct route). When I left (around 4 pm on a Friday), the place was pretty crowded and the parking lot was extremely full. Would return.

Definitely not a place to relax anymore, it feels like they oversell the entrances, everything is crowded, people talk in the saunas and quiet relaxation spaces. Some people literally stole my towel and threw my robe into the wet floor. Not worth the 100+€ that you pay just to be stressed and be surrounded by a bunch of people that don’t respect the space. Also, the changing rooms with lockers are so small, makes changing really uncomfortable and cramped. Never again.

As a non-German, I can understand why someone may feel deterred by the textile-free rules.

This sauna/spa is quite okay. Its very large and pretty crowded. Parking can be an issue, on busy hours. The interior is of one very well executed concept and the restaurant is quite good. There is plenty of rooms where you can relax but, given the amount of people, only just enough sauna capacity if you are okay with a smaller spot. There are many rituals taking place (aufguss) which are good but flawed by a lack of music and being overcrowded with early leaving people. Why? To even gain a spot you have to claim one 5-15 min beforehand and wait until the aufguss begins - inside the sauna!.. downright risky healthwise! So those who entered early leave early, being overheated. The staff is competend and the overall hygiene could be called good imo. Enjoy your stay!

TLDR; the best sauna experience I have ever experienced. If you are new to saunas in Germany, just be aware that it is textile free, so you will be nude in the sauna. Took me a bit of time to get used to it but because everyone will be nude, at one point, no one really cares and only focuses on themselves to relax and enjoy, so it was absolutely fine.

The amount of different saunas they have is great, different infusions are very interesting, the steam rooms are great, and the pools are also very nice to have to cool down. The quiet rooms are very nice to relax, the camin room with the fireplace is amazing. Some saunas are inside and some outside, which also give a great change of experience. The restaurant also offers a wide range of drinks and food. I really cannot complain.

I love the place and can recommend anyone to visit and check it out for themselves. I will definitely return.

This place was awesome before it was hit hard by the hype and masses of people from Düsseldorf area are flooding this actually relaxing place. I used to visit Vabali twice a week before this "no entry without reservation" times started.

I am surprised how people like these masses of people in a place which is actually there to relax. Too many people talk in the sauna and are the cherry on the top of destroying relaxation.

I miss the times where you could enjoy the "Gartensauna" with a handful of Hotsauna-Aficiniados rather than this hop-on-hop-off hipsters that leave it after 4 minutes again.

Now it is just a memory of the good times of this actually awesome place.

If you have no problems with masses and you are aware to book your relax time, Vabali is still a great place.

The place has a serene view. I would recommend to go only for the pool and sauna services that are basic. We did a wellness premium pass with additional services which was not at all worth it. The massage was not even subpar, the food quality was so so, and facial was a complete waste of money. 3/5 is still a higher rating given the experience.

Very beautiful place, many saunas of various types and styles. Nice and clean whereever you look and go. Good restaurant and very relaxing restaurant seating, both inside and outside. The view onto the lake is also very nice. The sauna infusions could be a little slower, some personell seemed to be in a hurry while doing the infusions and sauna temperature could be a little higher. Overall I had a very relaxing day at Vabali and for sure I'll come again.

The Vabali Spa and is an incredible place to chill out for the day. It equals other spa complexes in terms of Sauna facilities in Germany, but stands out in terms of luxury. The place feels like an ultra-exclusive hotel with far better spa facilities than any hotel would consider providing. Indoors and out, the decor and attention to detail is fantastic.

The building also faces a large lake (Elbsee) and faces west, so you get the maximum amount of sun in the evenings making staying outside long into the evening as enjoyable as possible.

One annoying downside was that you were not able to leave the premises at all during your stay. I had to be elsewhere for an hour in the afternoon, and it is not possible to leave if you've paid for a day pass. Added to this is that there is one restaurant (which serves great food, but is quite expensive). There is nowhere to buy a quick snack. If you want an ice cream, a cold drink or another snack, the only option you have is an expensive dessert from the restaurant menu.

Apart from that. The facilities are incredible and I wish there was something like it outside Germany. But there isn't. This place is fantastic and I will certainly be going back.

Beautiful place, though a little crowded on the weekends. The thing I hate the most, though, is the 60 cent surcharge for plant based milk. This is a slap in the face for anyone caring for ethics, health, or the environment and something I thought was way in the past. I hope they reconsider that and put a little more focus on environmental issues than on mere profits...

Vabali Spa Düsseldorf is a great place - I was impressed by spacious sauna rooms and generally there are lot lot different saunas, (I can recommend sauna for women when you get in special hours body mask), swimming pools- with cold and hot waters, the atmosphere is very discreet and great at the same time. Thematic sauna shows every half hour (I was there on Sunday). Better take a ticket for whole day. The gastronomy is also very good - I took a Thai soup and brownie. The photos and cameras are prohibited there so I didn’t took a photos inside. I would definitely recommend and want to try other Vabali in Berlin.
